Hip Dislocation Study
This study is in Full Launch Phase.
The β-testing sites were the following institutions: Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH), Children’s Hospital Colorado (COLORADO), Seattle Children’s (SEA), & C.S. Mott Children’s (UMich) with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) as the lead site.
The materials for the study are found below:
- HD Protocol: Protocol that all sites use for the study
- HD Data Entry Guide: Your guide to searching for patients, identifying eligible patients, and conducting data entry
- β-Launch Training Video: Site-introduction training material provided to us by the lead site including information on data entry, imaging measurements, and an informal Q&A session.
- Specific measurement demonstrations requested in the data entry form can also be found in the following links:
- Excel Template for Imaging Measurement and AVN Status: Recommended template that the trained orthopaedic surgeon at each respective institute may utilize to verify imaging datapoints and grade AVN status if they are unable to input data directly into the REDCap. A research member may later transcribe information from the Excel sheet into the RedCap.
